William R. Bellemare, 73 of Bristol, husband of 44 yearsof the late Mary-Jane (Dumont) Bellemare, died Monday, (August 5, 2002) at Bristol Hospital. Mr. Bellemare was born in Bristol on September 20, 1928 and was a son of the late Arthur O. and Mary (McCarthy) Bellemare. A lifelong Bristol resident, he graduated from Bristol High School in 1946, and served in the United States Navy in the late 1940's. As an electrician, he was a member of I.B.E.W. Locals 37 and 90, and retired as project manager from Woods Electrical in 1993. He was a member of St. Matthew Church, Forestville....

Anne B. (Bellemare) Mazzoni, 93, of Bristol, widow of Alfred J. Mazzoni, died on Sunday (September 11, 2011) at Avon Health Center. Mrs. Mazzoni was born in Bristol on March 31, 1918 and was a daughter if the late Arthur and Mary (McCarthy) Bellemare. A lifelong Bristol resident, she worked at Allied Control in Plantsville and Kip Manufacturing in Farmington before retiring. She was a member of St. Matthew Church, Forestville. Mrs. Mazzoni is survived by her son and daughter in law, William and Diane Mazzoni of Bristol; her daughter and son in law, Geraldine and Hunter Kendall of Bristol; a brother, Kenneth Bellemare of Lakeland, FL; three sisters, June D'Amato of Southington, Elsie Taillon of Bristol, and Marlene Solomon of Plantsville; two grandchildren, Ed Kendall of Southington, and Kerin Kendall of Bristol; three great grandchildren, Logan, Abby, and Adam Kendall; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and William Bellemare.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (September 15, 2011) at 9 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol to St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave., Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday between 6 and 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
