I , or we have an Anna Rosina (Adam) that married (in 1830) Friedrich Nitschke b 2Feb1808 in Peruschen, Upper Selesia Prussia, who immigrated to Quebec, Canada 1May1866 and then on to Michigan in 1871. Since they had a son 26Jul 1858, I'm wondering if this could be a niece. Three of this couples sons settled in Michigan and are buried in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Bay County. My husband would be a great grandson of Friedrich Nitschke. After all of that I'm not sure thats been any help. But the name Anna Rosina Nitschke rung a bell to me.

NITSCHKE John Albert Born June 1st, 1930 in Delia, Alberta. John passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the Queens Park Hospice, New Westminster. John will be dearly missed by his children Bruce (Lynne), Brenda (Garry), Barbara (Mitch) and grandchildren, Alexandra, Cody, Rachael, Mackenzie, Mariah, Leigh and Aymee. Also by his brother Gilbert (Joyce) and sister Lindeen (Harry) and many friends. Predeceased by son Larry, sister Ruby and parents, Emmila and Gottleib. John moved to Chilliwack in the 1940's and worked at the Eversfield Poutlry Farm and Hatchery. Later going to work at Jones Lake Logging and then in 1952 began working across Canada on the TransCanada Pipeline. John followed the pipeline from B. C. to Northern Ontario, finally settling in Vancouver in 1963 with his family. John was hard working and well respected in the construction industry as a Heavy Duty Mechanic and Equipment Operator. In John's retirement years he was always on hand for his children and grandchildren who he enjoyed immensely. He was baby-sitter, chauffeur, mover, house/pet-sitter and personal mechanic. John enjoyed playing Bingo, One-Armed Bandits and was an avid Canucks Fan. There is no service by request. NITSCHKE, Roy Henry Peacefully, with his family by his side, on December 5, 2005 at The Hospice at May Court in his 83rd year after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Flake) and loving father of Doug (Barbara), Sharon (Wayne Gillis), Brenda, Don (Yuri). Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Nathan, Matthew, Grace, William, and Katie. Survived by sisters Ida Buckland and Alice (Bill) James of Hamilton and brother George of Poltimore, Quebec. Predeceased by parents Wilhelm and Wilhelmine, sister Elsie Mallon, and brothers Ivan and Arthur. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all staff and volunteers at The Hospice at May Court and the staff at Bayshore Healthcare, especially Michel Marion. Sharon M. Noel, 71, formerly of 4 Hawley Road, Danbury, beloved mother of Holly J. Noel, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2006, at Bethel Health Center. Sharon was born in Burnett, Wisc. on February 25, 1935, daughter of the late Arthur and Ina Nitschke. She graduated from Horicon High School in Wisconsin in 1952. Sharon received a baccalaureate from Western Connecticut State University and a master's degree from Hunter College in New York City. She was employed as a teacher for 17 years at The Melrose School in Brewster, N.Y. The teaching profession was her passion and her students brought her great joy. She is survived by one daughter, Holly J. Noel and boyfriend, John M. Boye of Danbury; cousins, Niles, Reed and Jan Seering, as well as Shannon and Scott Keach of Fox Lake, Wisc. In addition, two nephews, Scott and Daniel Nitschke of Wisconsin. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Ina M. Long; her stepfather, Robert J. Long; and her brother, David Nitschke. There will be a small graveside service held at Slate Hill Cemetery in Goshen, N.Y. on Saturday October 7 at 1 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association. Wilbert Nitschke of Petawawa, beloved husband of the late Anne Nitschke (nee Noel), and dear father of Beverley. Brother of Lawrence, Eleanor, & Eileen. Predeceased by sisters Hilda, Helen, & Edna; and brothers Herbert & Fred. Son of the late Otto and Lena Nitschke (nee Fischer). Also lovingly remembered by sisters & brothers-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews. By request there will be no visitation. Funeral Service will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church, 605 Black Bay Rd., Petawawa on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11: 00 a. m. Spring Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
